  : When we were checked in via phone we were not given a physical address. Booking.com took us to a different realty area so we actually had a different staff help us find our condo. We also were not aware that it wasn't just a vacation rental area but that permanent residents live in the condominiums, so we were constantly trying to keep our children from running or having fun so that we wouldn't disturb the residents.

  : The beds in the bedroom were very plush and we slept well. It was nice that coffee was in the apartment already. It was easy to use a door code to open the lock so we did not have to keep track of an actual key. Apartment complex was quiet.
  : When I booked the apartment back in March originally for Sandfest (which was then rescheduled to October), I was told I was unable to cancel within 2 weeks of the scheduled date or else be charged the full price. (Sandfest was rescheduled like 12 days prior to our reservation). However I could reschedule in the next 12 months as long as it was okay with the owners. I subsequently rescheduled for October (when Sandfest was rescheduled), however then Sandfest was cancelled completely and thus was unable to cancel without being charged the full amount. This whole process was very frustrating. The tv remote did not have batteries. We were unable to get the wifi to work even after following the instructions provided on the paperwork. My husband even tried above and beyond the instructions without benefit. There was only one garbage bag in the apartment (that we could find) which was not enough for us. No matter how much you clean yourself off from sand, you always seem to track it places so having something like a wet swiffer in the apartment to use to clean out the sand would have been very nice. Apartment was on the second floor which was not conducive with having small children.

  : The pictures online are fantastic, but the actual apartment is even better!! Clean Clean Clean. I love the charm of the complex, so understated and cozy. We weren't able to walk down to the beach as we had hoped, but the drive was nice. We got a chance to see much more of the beach!! Very friendly community. An elderly woman fell walking down a sidewalk on the street right outside the complex and FIVE cars stopped to help he up and make sure she was ok. True hometown hospitality at it's finest. Sidenote: If you snore, expect to be kicked to the couch. Also....I had a spooky experience in the unit. Just one and nothing really happened except an adrenaline rush. Enjoy!! oh, and one more little thing...there is nowhere to lay your beach towels out to dry. But there is a place to clean your fish!!
