  : Breakfast was great, but we needed it to start at 7:00, . So did others, as there were many of us waiting for a cup of coffee by 7:00. Would have been nice to at least have the front room open for coffee.
  : Breakfast opened too late. Coffee was not available until 7:30.

  : The location of the lodge was great.They moved my room to the first floor at my request upon check in.
  : The hot tubs were up flights of stairs and were most difficult to get in and out of with my bad back. This was not advertised on the website. The hotel was built in the 1950s and is not ADA friendly. They have an accessible room, but there are steps everywhere. There was a hanging light fixture in front of the window that we repeatedly bumped our heads on. They need to put a table under the fixture or raise it up so a person can walk under it without hitting it. The cost of my room $325 higher than my reservation confirmation. I reserved a king bed. When moved to the first floor we had 2 queens. I was not informed of the higher cost.I received a message prior to our arrival asking if I wanted to upgrade my room to one with a private bathroom. I assumed the room I reserved had a bathroom. Thinking that was not the case, I opted to upgrade to a room with a private bathroom. When I arrived, I inquired about this and was told all rooms have a private bathroom. I feel I was duped into a more expensive room.

  : Great location/views and nice staff. Walkable to all shopping/eateries, and the Ouray Perimeter Trail via the Queen St access point. Ample parking. Tasty breakfast. Loved being able to open the screened windows and take in the mountain air at night. The tiered hot spring tubs were a nice touch. We enjoyed them.
  : Breakfast room was too small and had limited seating. We had good summer weather so some people opted to eat outside because of lack of tables/space. Get in line for breakfast early. End tables on both sides of the bed is our preference, but don't think was possible in our room. We had a very inconsiderate family next door during our first night who were running around on wooden top walkway, jumping/screaming, and constantly knocking/slamming doors well after summer dark. Some kind of quiet hours enforcement would be good idea.

  : The ceiling fan in our room was broken and when we turned it on began swinging around like it was going to fall out of the ceiling.

  : The breakfast was not good. Had to go out each day for breakfast. The property does not look like the pictures. It's more of a motel 6 feel to it. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

  : Aluminum hot tub covers too heavy. If you drop it on your toes or foot can do serious damage and cause negligence lawsuits that cost owner?? Waiver does not include owner lack of care for guests. Staff need to regularly remove them for guests!
