  : The actual premises were exceptionally kept. Staff were lovely upon check-in and throughout the evening while answering inquiries.Rooms were immaculately kept, housekeeping was prompt to respond to amenities requests.Locale was extraordinary.
  : With 2+ years of working in a 13 story 4 star hotel in belfast as Night Manager I do hold certain standards when staying away, especially when for leisure.I was not asked upon checkout for feedback by the brunette lady so did not give it, with a busy enough lobby I'd rather avoid drawing attention than offer unwanted feedback.The bed was very uncomfortable. Safe to say I didn't sleek for more than 90 minutes at a time throughout the night and watched the clock tick. The missus slept fine though a friend of mine who was in the next room informed me at breakfast he was exactly the same with a troublesome night - I'm 6'6 foot and my feet hung off the end of the bed all night. Appalling for 4 stars.Then to breakfast, with having a very troublesome night sleep, safe to say I was very much looking forward to the breakfast grub - I'd heard great things and with not getting the most of our bed and breakfast deal in the regards to using the bed for sleep, I very much looked forward to the buffet.We were greeted by a pleasant lady who was efficient in marking us off the breakfast list and very kindly directed us to a very nice booth. Decor was lovely in the restaurant. To be fair, it fell apart from here.There was a waiter with a foreign complexion who spent the 30 minutes we were in the restaurant stood at the very end of our table, very abrasive of our personal space and did not take subtle queues and hints to move away at all, yet with being so close with a tray on his stand he did not remove one used piece of crockery or cutlery from the table throughout our meal.The food horrified me. Before moving FOH I was a trained chef with accreditations in quality control. The embryo of each egg had discoloured and hardened over, indication they had been sitting for a few hours - the breakfast chef clearly cracked and cooked them when he started early in the morning and just kept them warm throughout without refreshing or serving fresh eggs.
