  : Quiet spot, good water pressure and temperature
  : Cigarette smoke every morning, bed bugs, woke up with a dozen bug bites, horrible beds, no a/c.

  : Comfortable and spacious room.
  : Pavement laying outside made access difficult. Very scruffy outside and in the communal areas. Very little staff presence.

  : The room was spacious and comfortable, and had a good bathroom with shower. Breakfast was delicious and staff very pleasant and helpful.

  : An affordable hotel near to Cherbourg train station, with a definite vintage air: it felt like a railway hotel from a mid-century period piece. Rooms clean albeit minimal - bed, small coffee table, chair, TV, no real wardrobe - shower with good water pressure. Windows not overlooked.
  : The hotel had many stairs and no lift, while a persistent odour of cigarette smoke permeated the halls and drifted up to the bedroom windows at night, either from other guests (we saw only one of those) or from the staff - we had them open, on account of visiting during a heatwave. (There's no A/C and no fan either, but that's expected.)

  : The room was good, despite the front of the hotel looking a bit shabby. The owner was very helpful. Good location opposite the station.
  : Some information on where to find places to eat would have been useful. The hotel is not doing breakfasts at present.
