  : I got a good night's sleep and needed it.
  : I never saw staff.. when I checked in or checked out. After waiting in the lobby and also trying to call the front desk, I found a guy outside and asked if he worked there and he said he'd get the woman in charge but couldn't find her. He did find my room key behind the desk and just let me in. I honestly have never felt unsafe at a motel until I went to this one. I don't know that it's even a motel. And it wasn't real cheap either. Hallways reeked of weed. Broken furniture everywhere outside. A literal hole in the wall in the bathroom that went into the next room (I did not shower for that reason). My room was basically in the basement — a whole floor of rooms is downstairs below ground level. Not sure if anyone stays upstairs. I only saw one other guest. An AC unit in the wall had gaps in it that went straight to the parking lot, so anytime someone was outside it was like they were in your room - you could hear everything through the literal hole in the wall to the parking lot. The whole town kind of creeped me out... looked abandoned. Couldn't even get directly onto the interstate- had to take a long truck route detour along a dirt road to get to the highway. If I could do over, I would never have stayed there. O and the bedding was not laundered... there were dog (maybe cat) hairs all over everything inside and out, which I'm allergic to, so that sucked too.
