Built in the 1890s this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. Hotel Staubbach provides simply furnished rooms with private or shared bathrooms.

On the ground floor you can find a TV. Wine beer and soft drinks are sold at the reception. In the surroundings you can find many hiking paths leading to the 72 waterfalls in the area. Restaurants and shops are within a 5 to 10-minute walk.

: The location was superb with fabulous views. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast server was super friendly and helpful.

: This hotel has the best location, with views over the Staubbach Falls. Some rooms have balconies on the waterfall side. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a good selection. The biggest asset of this hotel is the staff, personalized service and they have some really good advice about Lauterbrunnen and the area. This hotel was one of the original in Lauterbrunnen. The hotel serves breakfast only but there is a picnic room where you can prepare and eat your own meals if you want to eat in for lunch or dinner. But, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby to choose from. It is a short walk from the Train Station, taking about 10 minutes with luggage and the local bus goes past the door with 2 stops nearby, particularly good if you don't want to walk to the train station.
