Villa Orchidea With Pool

  : Amazing views. clean and tidy with a good level of kitchen equipment etc. Swimming pool looked nice and clean although we did not get a chance to use it.
  : Very tricky to find although we followed the manager from the station to the villa. The roads are very narrow and winding - luckily we had a fiat 500 hire car which is perfect for the mountain roads. The instructions about where to leave your rubbish when departing are poor. Having paid a 50 cleaning fee in cash on arrival I would expect the rubbish to be removed by the cleaner or manager not me on the way back the airport on departure day.

  : The view from the villa was amazing. The size of the villa was good for our family. The host collected us from the train station and took us to the villa.
  : You need transport as it took us 50 minutes + to walk to Varenna Town and wouldn't want to attempt walking up as it is a very steep and winding road with no pavements. It was nearly impossible to get a taxi as there are very few cars available. The pool wasn't attached to the villa and was in another street and full of leaves.

  : Due to the weather being so hot we missed A/C although fans were provided.
