  : We stayed here a few weeks before and gave a good review for the room. But on this visit we were given a room that was very small ...in fact the smallest room we have stayed in during the last 40 years !!! The shower room was also small. When we mentioned it, a member of staff said "Well it's a double mini" ...which is not what I booked. We ate lunch which was very expensive, pre-cooked and over salted ...very disappointed to see the lunch menu options again on the evening menu. Our fish choices were well cooked for the evening meal, but the dessert was poor. The joke was the coffee afterwards. We wanted white coffee ...we received a mug of "worker's" coffee that had obviously been prepared for some while, that was "plonked" on the table. We had to ask for milk and sugar. The staff were different from our previous visit. These staff appeared to lack training in customer service and restaurant skills ...leaning across customers, dropping drinks and table service manners. Finally, breakfast was not ready for 07.00, a cleaner had to show the breakfast manager where the sugar was, some of the cooked food was cold and the hotel staff appeared during the breakfast service while customer's were there to help themselves to coffee. All in all it was a disappointing and expensive night's stay compared to the previous one.

  : Got upgraded to a superior double room with balcony and sea view. Never happened before at Havana so very nice surprise. Love the spa. Good food. Love the cigar room.
