  : Nice little hotel right next to the Bodetaltheme (reason we went to Thale in the first place) and right next to hiking trails (Hexentanzplatz, Rosstrappe). There were quite some restaurants and ice cream shops around, which made it pleasant to walk around. The breakfast offered a nice variety and full can of coffee was served (big plus)
  : We weren't able to book 2 separate beds in the rooms but were told that the bed will have 2 mattresses at least. Upon arrival, it was a 1.40m wide bed with only one very soft mattress. We only spent one night but because we were not a couple, the night was not too pleasant. We will have too book another room next time, which is quite expensive for the size of the room.

  : Staff were very friendly, probably the most friendly and helpful we have experienced during travels in Germany. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, payment was super clear and direct. On the check-in date, we arrived early knowing were were doing so with the request that we could drop our bags off and get changes so that we would not lose a day of hiking. Staff were super flexible and allowed us to do so. Much appreciated. Location was also good and the hygiene regulations during Covid-19 was super clear and straight forward.
  : The internet in our room was not so good. I had to go down to the reception area in the evening for a while and saw that it was very strong there. We later realised there is a corner in the room where it was better than when sitting on the bed. Everything else was perfect though.

  : Nice feel and friendly helpful staff. Excellent location near Cableway to Rosstrappe and Hexentanzplats and the beautiful Bode walley.
  : Rather small common areas in the hotel. But a nice outside terrace, and we had good weather and could sit outside for breakfast.

  : The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even give us recommendations on where to eat and what to do. I could really recommend the said hotel.
  : We just have a hard time finding parking space. But other than that, it was a great place to stay.

  : The guest house staff was really kind, they assisted us with finding a parking spot, as the street in front of the hotel was being repaired. The location is convenient, 7 mins away from the cabin lift / gondola and the action park, it was what we came there for. We went up and down the hill with the gondola lift and tried the bobsleigh, it was fun. Breakfast is with a rebooked hour, which is excellent if you are planning some mountain activities, you get your table ready at the arranged time with a coffee jug and a bowl of fresh bread waiting for you at a designated table. There's also a nice outdoor sitting area with a few tables and an honesty bar from which you can get a beer or a bottle of wine. The place was really chill.
  : The only thing that can be improved is the pillows at the beds, they were really soft and a bit uncomfortable to sleep on.
