  : Staff was friendly, you can help yourselves to extra towels, toothpaste, soap, etc. Comfy lounge in front. Location is good and we recommend going to Phobe's restaurant close by for an affordable and delicious lunch and dinner. Water street bagels is not too far for breakfast and delicious but you'll pay lunch prices for their bagel sandwiches! We love the old buildings in CUSE and it was easy to get around and back to the hotel. We did not hear any dogs barking even though they were there. Unlike newer hotels the walls are not paper thin and we did not hear the traffic close by the windows either.
  : Only one of two elevators worked. No breakfast but for the price there should be especially since they have the room for it and you can tell they used that room to host a breakfast in the past. The bed in our "suite" was a very light and cheap mattress. No bar at the hotel. Toilets are too small for us tall guys. Shower screamed at us when showering in a high pitched whine! Difficult to move the cart filled with suitcases around. Would be very difficult for handicapped people the way it is setup. If you sleep in, the wooden blinds do not block the light well enough.

  : The staff were all great! Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The building has a lot of historic charm and is well preserved. We found it very clean and comfortable. Also, there is great taco place, a deli (super-deli with tons of desserts and a lot of grab and go dishes), and Phoebe’s in walking distance.
  : The only drawback is that you might not want to do too much walking around. We walked to armory square (20 min walk crosstown) and it wasn’t ideal. Get an Uber as the area can feel desolate at times.
