  : Very nice and friendly staff. The room is big, the beds are cozy and comfortable. Good place for a short stay, close to the train station. Clean room. Spacious and clean bathroom.

  : The hotel is located next to the main railway station and very close to the old town and all the main attractions of the town, but the sourrandings are not noisy at all. It is located in an old tenement house, which is beautifully renovated. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts are very tasty and good. The hotel has its parking (additional payment, but not that expensive) so the guests do not have to worry to find parking place on the street. The location is really good base for day trips to see the beautifull Rugen island.

  : Breakfast was exceptionally good, and the breakfast room exceptionally pleasant. The bedroom was good, and nice to have en suite bathroom.
  : The shower doors were not correctly installed (I think to do them correctly would have been difficult) and as a result water poured onto the floor of the bathroom when the shower was used.

  : Pleasantly surprised. We did book the room a bit too fast and then started worrying by reading some of the bad reviews. In fact, it was quite nice. Spacious, nice looking room, and nicely located near the train station. Nice pillows, also. Kettle with very nice selection of tea and also fair-trade coffee. There was a nice big fan in the room. Also : as we changed our plans and booked a second night there separately for the following night, we asked them if we could keep the same room. They accommodated for this without problem (a confirmation at least one day before we arrive would have been nice though).
  : - The fact that the hotel is indeed not always staffed (at night) can be a problem I guess. We didn't have any though. - Related to this, regarding the fact that some people have been complaining about not having been able to leave their luggage because of the lack of staff before check-in, here is a tip: you can store your luggage at the station (which is in front of the hotel). It costs 4 (only takes coins) per locker. We managed to squeeze two quite large suitcases in one big 4 locker. Note also that the check-in at 15:00 is nothing special: we did stay in a few hotels in northern Germany and it was the standard check-in time. - The shower was leaking water in the bathroom (joints should be remade properly). Surprisingly this is an issue that we frequently encountered during this whole trip. - The shower basin felt quite (too) fragile (plastic ?).
