Disappointing

  : They offered a very nice breakfast. There were several common rooms and areas for holding meetings - very impressive for these types of events.
  : I waited quite some time to write this review, as I wanted the Manger to have ample time to write me about what happened during my stay, as well as time for me to write this review with a more calm head. I must say that when I arrived, I was very impressed with the facility, although it is truly in the middle of nowhere. It is very nice looking and my first impression was a nice place. I checked in with no problems and made my way to one of the rooms in the redone farmhouse. Again, at first, it seemed great with a common kitchen and living room. I had a nice bedroom and bathroom. When I started to unpack, this is where it started to go wrong. As I put my clothes in the closet, I thought I noticed mouse feces. Uh oh. I did a check around the room, but nothing else... until I went to bed. Luckily I pulled back the sheets with the light on - there was a large urine stain on my sheets. I then moved to two single beds apart, and that is when the mouse and his nest fell to the floor. I spent a bit chasing it around the room and then realized this is not my responsibility hahaha. I packed up my stuff and went to the front desk, but not before getting the employee to open up the front door - had to call the hotel as he did not hear the knocking. When I told him of the mouse, he simply gave me a key to a room in the main hotel building - no apology and almost seemed annoyed that I wanted a new room - what?!? Later that night, I realized that I forgot something and went to the main desk - couldn't find him anywhere, but saw a note to the manager about me. The next day I expected a note or a visit by the manager - nothing. Check out - nothing. This place may have a great breakfast, restaurant area, and meeting facilities, but DO NOT go out of your way to stay here. The place is in a farming area and it has mice - makes sense. Just do a thorough clean up and check of you facilities BEFORE you have someone stay there..As you can imagine, I will not be there again.

  : Clean, comfortable and attractive accommodation with a number of small cabin like rooms. Very friendly welcome, excellent dinner (one choice menu). Lovely setting.
  : Slightly inattentive staff when eating breakfast near the end of breakfast time.
