  : Really appreciated being collected at the port and driven to our accommodation . Comfortable bed and non feather pillows excellent..Flyscreens on windows meant we could sleep with windows open to ventilate and cool the room nstead of having to put the aircon on..The apartment was within fairly close walking distance of a sandy beach plus the town restaurants however you might want to track your location initially to find your way back. Once you have your bearings its ok to find.Lastly the two guys running the place were brilliant so helpful

  : The property was in a great location, a little more than 5 minutes walk to a really nice beach and about 10 minutes walk to the port in the other direction. The port is easily walkable but hard with heavy bags, so it was appreciated when we were collected from the port and out bags dropped off on the way home, free of charge. There were 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 teenagers so we had 2 apartments. They both had private seating areas but the upstairs one had a nice balcony with sea views so we spent most time there. One day we walked to the recommended Agios Sostis beach. It was pretty with very clear waters but there is little shade so bring your own. Also, 40 minutes walk was quite hard in the heat of the day so I'd recommend getting the bus if you don't have a car. The local beach has nice sand with pine trees for shade, and is obviously closer, so we spent most time there. The main town Hora is well worth a trip in the evenings. There are regular buses up the steep hill, and a cute little square packed with restaurant tables and chairs awaits you at the top, as well as great views from the church over the surrounding landscape. This was our first time in Serifos and we recommend both the island and the accommodation.
