: Older, delightful bungalow near Ocean Beach, Dog Beach, and in a quiet neighborhood! Couch in current pictures has been replaced with a futon. Nearby airport flight noise could be heard past 11pm but minimal. Assigned 1 space for parking in alley in back of house and is in-between gates/ fence (parallel park). Parking can be hard to find otherwise. Use lockbox on far right, and bungalow entrance gate is to the right of lockbox. If entrance gate is hard to open, pull up while unlocking/locking. Gate has a dead bolt and the other key is for the entrance door knob (door opens 60-70% and 2+ steps up, slightly awkward, but back door with own courtyard opens fully). Clean walkway around bungalow, picnic table in backyard/ courtyard, and 2 chairs on small porch. Due to higher fencing, all but 1 window is private and within enclosed/locked area. Within walking distance: beach, restaurants, local grocery, other shops, and a small Target store. Fun farmer's market/food truck night on Wednesday's along Newport Ave. Rarely is air conditioning needed in bungalow, but ask if any special requests and/or for a fan. 4-burner gas stove appears new, older full size fridge with top freezer (and has ice cube tray). Microwave was on top of refrigerator (at 5'4", no problem to use, except extra nudge to close microwave door). Coffee maker, coffee, and condiments are currently stocked (but we did not use). There was a ceiling fan in kitchen, living room, and bedroom. A high pub table with 2 chairs was in corner of living room (3rd chair was by back door). We did not use the TV. Both a trash can and recycle can were located outside near the entrance door. More extensive shopping (or San Diego) was just a short drive away. Hope to return soon!
: It is hard not to love Ocean Beach! Lots of plants, so you might find a spider or two. Futon is OK, bed is great. Older building and a couple things inside bungalow are refurbished or in the process of being updated or repaired (ex. possibly original cabinets, lighting fixtures, etc.)
