: PJ and Adele have done a great job of keeping this historical house in perfect condition! They have brought in the modern pluses of a microwave, shower and comfortable bed while still allowing us to feel like we are back in time 350 years ago! With a degree in Historic Preservation, PJ was even able to expand more on the building, which made our experience even more interesting! This is the best way to experience Salem, a town with so much history! This is the perfect place to be if you appreciate American history, not for people that don't appreciate the quality of old craftsmanship. You would do better in a modern hotel, but then why are you visiting Salem? :)
: Breakfast is very simple, with coffee, tea and bread and a few pastries. To really step it up a notch, you might consider contracting with a great local bakery, if you were able to order the day before based on occupied rooms? Another thought would be a tray warmer and putting out a quiche as a fancier option? I only write this because it is a Bed and Breakfast, but as a guest you can easily find many great breakfast and coffee options within an easy walk from the Daniel's House.

: Although we didnt end up staying, this place was very interesting. it reminded me of a museum. I had a bad foot, so we decided I shouldnt travel to the third floor. No fault of the Daniels House B & B.
