  : We would have liked the house if it had what we needed
  : Couldn't use the stove the whole 10 days, it didn't work. We turned it on and the house filled with gas & make everyone nautious & have headaches.We also didn't like the attitude from the husband after he had to pay $100 to have the stove looked at. We wanted a way out but we were never offered one. Please be aware of staying at this house with these hosts, if something breaks while you are there and you tell them you need it fixed, they will have an attitude & resent you the rest of the time you are staying there. Also, there is no washer and dryer and the neighbors are irritated that they use this home as an Air B & B.

  : It was old and tired. Poor lighting. Steep narrow stairs to 2nd storey bedrooms. Pull string light switches hard to find when arriving after dark and stairwell light only accessible at the top. Tricky in the dark. Beds uncomfortable for 2. Not bad for 1. Roll to the middle when 2 in bed. Cutlery minimal. Could be a really cute and comfortable cottage if some money is spent to fix it up.

  : It was very clean and the beds were soft and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and the welcome basket held magazines and brochures for local attractions. The breakfast items also made our mornings easier.
  : The owners apparently had not checked their listing advertising and marketing in a while. They had listed that there was a washer and dryer ON SITE. We planned a 10 day trip with 5 changes of clothing and specifically booked this location so we could do laundry at the halfway point.We got to the property after an 11 hour day of hiking at Yellowstone- dirty and ready to do laundry. When I text the owner asking where the washer and dryer were, I received a google pin to a laundromat 3 miles away. He didnt ask why I was asking where the laundry was, just sent a pin. We found that rude to start out. When I sent him a screenshot of his listing, he responded several minutes later with a screenshot of it changed on the back end and said that booking had a glitch. We went to the laundromat and spend almost $8.00 for one load. I sent him a screenshot asking him for reimbursement of the laundry costs as well as for our time and the frustration and inconvenience. I asked for a $40.00 discount and received a response that it was Booking.coms fault and I needed to go to them.I called booking on our way back to the park and was told it is the sole responsibility of the property owner to ensure their marketing and advertising is up to date at all times and notify booking if their are issues they need to fix.I didnt fight the owner further, I didnt want to ruin my vacation fighting someone who obviously wouldnt take responsibility for their mistake. I received an auto message that the owners have booking send at the end of a stay - it said put the linens in the washer and dryer when you leave meaning - they obviously hadnt checked their marketing through booking since they renovated and removed laundry. So he lied when I originally text him about it and likely sent me a screenshot of him changing it right then.One of the bathroom doors also didnt latch and had a large vent in the door so whoever was in the bathroom could be heard loud and clear in the living room.

  : The beds were one of the best beds we slept on. They were small beds, though, but they were really soft. I loved the gift basket. Had snacks, water and brochures
  : They had a HUGE hole on the side of the house. So if you have small children. You have to really watch them not to fall in. They didn't mention anything about someone living under their home until we paid for the house. We could hear some of there conversation and I know that they could hear us. I know that it's not the home owners problem but the next door neighbor has a confederate flag hanging in the front yard. My sons girlfriend came with us and she's half black

  : It was good to have things in fridge for breakfast and also Bagels, cereals, etc. We enjoyed the water bottles left for us with the m&m candy packets. TV - figured out how to get netflex, only one we used. We felt it was clean when we arrived. We did not hesitate to use all beds. The girls slept on top of the quilts, and we weren't sure how to clean them. They had their own pillows. So we did not use the sheets or pillowcases, except in the north bedroom upstairs.
  : The narrow staircase was hard to climb without rails. The front door was not lockable, put a chair in front when we went to bed. Screen on upper right bedroom was out. We put fan in front of it to have some airflow. Also, cooler in other room was very noisy. The door knob and lock was missing on the 1/2 bath. Also no extra toilet paper in the vanity. Would be nice to see toilet paper holder in both bathrooms. Kind of scary to walk out back where the holes are dug. I was leary of walking on boards to put laundry in the backdoor where washer and dryer were.

  : It was a cozy spot. We loved that it was more affordable than almost any hotel we would find nearby and it gave us more space to spread out with our family and in-laws. It was also a longer driver than we had anticipated going to and from Yellowstone but it was possible which is one of the reasons we chose this location. The owners were incredibly kind and made sure we were welcomed upon arrival and ga s us a detailed card with instructions about things not working in the house and how we were to close up upon leaving.
  : While it definitely served its purpose, there were things about the property that needed to be fixed. Some of the lights in rooms didnt work, a ceiling fan needed to be replaced or fixed, the floor under the table was sloped, the stove had a hole in the top and one place was always hot. We werent in the house frequently so it didnt affect us too much.
