  : Nice area.We were in room a short while before being evacuated due to forest fire.Desk staff (manager?) keep his cool while answering phone, handling people checking out, and advising on fire conditions. It could have been much more chaotic, but he handled it well.
  : Being evacuated. The fire was fearsome and close. Could have been tragic for many.We are sorry for locals facing that destruction.

  : Clean, beds were very comfortable. Daytime staff very courteous and friendly.
  : Night male desk clerk very rude and disrespectful. We had been parked in the parking lot for LESS than 5 minutes in a nice new Ram 4D pickup. He came across the parking lot to our vehicle as if he was a security guard and asked, “can I help you?”, we said “no”, “we’re booking the motel”, and yelled, “FYI there is no camping in this parking lot”(??) and walked away and watched us. He was very strange and off-putting. We had no camping equipment and NO intention of camping! We would have left but we had just booked the property. Then had to deal with him inside as the clerk too….Management was notified in the morning.
