  : Super friendly. Very nice interior.
  : Shower in the bath without screen, so whole bathroom was wet. Closet couldnt open without moving the luggage. Bar personnel was mostly absent.

  : Reception staff, breakfast staff all very good, room ok but very little storage for a week stay. Breakfast good.
  : Restaurant closed for the full 7 days of our stay is unacceptable.Male bar staff with specs, uninterested, could do better. A lot better!Front terrace very noisy due to traffic on cobbled road. Couldn't hear ourselves talking some of the time.

  : Beautiful place, very friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was closed but the bar served good local bites and wines. Very large and super clean room. Safe parking at 400m distance at 25 per night. Tasty breakfast.We did not have time to use the spa.

  : Barr is a beautiful town and good starting point for visiting other villages in the Alsace. The hotel is on a good location in the centre of Barr. The rooms are clean and spacious. The spa is cozey. The breakfast is alright, but nothing special.
  : Don't park the car in the garage for extra charge! During our stay we were asked if we would want to park the car in the garage. You can park the car easily for free just 10 meters further from the garage. (saves you lots of money) For a 5 star hotel we have seen better hotels, purely based on the service, trained employees and overall vibe in the hotel. The hotel has much more potential with hiring the right employees. Employees are not much flexibele to think with the customer and somewhat stiff and indifferent. Only very few speak good English and it feels not like an international welcoming hotel. Keep in mind before you book: there is no restaurant in the hotel due to "recruitment problems" for employees. We were told after we booked. So you have to eat outside the hotel for lunch/dinner during your stay. Keep in mind that the food outside the hotel is outstanding and there is a wide variety of gastronomic places to visit for a fair price.
