Disappointing

  : The location was great, easy access to the freeway and to downtown Reno. The parking was good, ample and clean.
  : The staff was next to useless on multiple occasions. The front desk person who checked us in was great. We encountered VERY noisy neighbors, the kind who let their door swing shut and slam at 1 am in the morning, so I tried calling the front desk. A recording answered and wouldn't let me connect with a person or leave a message. The next morning, I approached a desk clerk (a different one) and she encouraged me to call the front desk. I explained to her "no person, just a machine," and her response was that was impossible, they were staffed 24/7. What...?? That night, same rude neighbors, same phone call, and same result. No ability to speak to front desk.The breakfast attendants were rude and/or incompetent. My kid wanted oatmeal, not sugary breakfast buns, but it was out. I asked one of the attendants and she literally could not understand me, so I pointed. She disappeared. No one came out. Twenty minutes later, a pot came out with still cooking oatmeal. I asked again, the response was that it had to cook and I had to wait. Pretty sure it wasn't oatmeal from scratch. I had also asked for hot water for tea, because that too was out. It took them a half hour to bring out hot water. By then, we were done and had to go. I tried the scrambled eggs, because I'm trying to not eat carbs, and they were essentially inedible. There were plenty of high calorie, sugary things, but almost nothing healthy.The ice machine on the floor was broken the entire time we were there. I reported it and it never got fixed. We had to have ice because the room frig did not work. The bathroom door in the room is a slider and has a frosted glass pane in it, so when you are in there, it shines a bright light on the beds, so that's a design flaw. Is that picky? Yes, but at the prices I paid, I expect better service and a decently working room. We are not returning here.

  : Room was very clean and the elevators arrive quickly.
  : Jet engine noise from planes taking off from Reno Tahoe International begins at 6:00am, making sleeping in pretty much impossible and the breakfast was very disappointing.
