  : Location, location, location. The river view was spectacular - sunrise over the river on the one day the weather was nice - and the cantilevered windows were PERFECT for the cold breeze and listening to the storms during most of my stay. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Red Bank, if you felt like eating off property (the food in the hotel, at Pearl, was excellent - but be prepared for a wait - and wait staff were not particularly good…
  : They really need to replace the shower heads - the one in my room had a couple of spots where the water came out with such force that it hurt. You’d not consider having it spray directly on your face. I made the joke that it could strip paint off of furniture. :) A TV upgrade to something that supports Air Play or Internet connections for Netflix would be on my list, too!

  : We did not get breakfast because the prices were high
  : The room needed to be updated - the rug was dirty & worn, the air conditioner made noise all night long, the shower faucet was falling off. Besides the cost of breakfast, this was a lot of money for off season. The cleaning people were in the hallway at 8 am, making all kinds of noise with glasses & their carts & yelling across rooms to each other…way too early for our liking.

  : The front desk gentleman named Junior was extremely courteous and helpful. Our room's AC was not working and we were upgraded to a suite since maintenance would need access to repair it. The suite had a lovely balcony and floor to ceiling windows to take in the amazing views. The restaurant staff and waitress were friendly and the food and drinks were delicious. We sat at table on the patio overlooking the water and enjoyed dinner.
  : The hotel is beautifully located. The lobby is lovely and the restaurant/bar area is nice. The rooms show some wear - nicks on walls, some furniture, carpets, sofa and TVs could use an update - but honestly everything was clean and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable with fluffy pillows and clean linens. I would stay again and would recommend the hotel to others.
