  : The swimming pool area was nice our room was clean.
  : This trip was initially booked months ago as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday but booking. Com has ruined it. My initial booking got cancelled and this then happened on the next three bookings I tried to get for this trip., I had the last booking cancelled the day before we were due to get to reading which was really stressful. I was then given the novotel hotel as a last resort as I had no other option. Getting to the hotel was traumatic it took us an hour to locate the car park and in doing so I was taken down a one way bus road three times meaning I will most likely get three tickets for this. Prior to this the hotel did NOT send me an email about the car park situation or any directions. I had to call the hotel to give me directions which still weren't clear and eventually they sent me an email with directions on which then stated there was a road closure and there was a different route to be taken to get to the car park at this point it was too late as id already been taken down the one way bus route. Really disappointing service from booking.com and I will be seeking compensation

  : Was made to pay for my room again even though it had been prepaid. Carpet was sodden next to the bed....clear leak from the bathroom.

  : Pool is a bonus. Location is good with proximity to restaurants and shops. Fitness center is quite good for a hotel.
  : Lots of things were out of service. Sauna, steam room, and pool shower were under repair. Lots of street level noise. So be prepared.
