Disappointing

  : The residence, the place, the location, the pool was absolutely amazing. I wouldn't go again just because of the negatives. If they want foreigners to understand what they want to do with the garbage they would prepare some signage in English at least.
  : The owner at was very nice, but we had 3 issues with her which we made worse because they spoke no English:1. We booked the day before, and did not notice that you cannot pay them through booking.com but only direct bank transfer or cash (it's the year 2021, they should upgrade). We arrived late that day but I couldn't pay her via transfer because the internet there is non existent and I couldn't connect, plus no signal to phone so you can't even use data) I told her I'd pay her the next day after our day trip and she was right at our door waiting for us as if we would run away (even though we left all our stuff there and paid a deposit in cash). 2. 1 hour before check out she went into our place to start removing the sheets, I guess in a passive aggressive way to let us know it was time to go.3. As we were leaving they left the big garbage bag from the house next to our car expecting us to take it. They said nothing, when we asked they just said to take it and didn't bother telling us where. We left it outside the residence as I couldn't find a garbage deposit.

  : Nice location, barbecue and a good size accomodation, comfortable beds.
  : I know that French are not famous for their hospitality, but at least they can provide basic things at accomodation like hand soap, toilet paper or dish soap. Some salt and other spices would be welcomed, as we find in the most accomodations in Europe. In Sardegna we had also coffee and teas, biscuits, pasta etc. These are not big expenses but help the client, which is not obliged to go shopping a lot of stuff that would be partly used . At least we had towels and sheets at this accomodation. France is the only country where we found ourselves at the arrival in the night without sheets (in a different accomodation).

  : nice, clean and spacious.
  : swimming pool only open until 20:00. Having an open view to mountains would be even better. WiFi connection was very spotty.

  : We loved the location to all beaches, airport and Porto Vecchio as well as the privacy and pool. It was really easy to navigate around the area from this location. The barbeque was well set up and we at barbeques each night. Bonifacio was just 45 mins away and lovely to explore also. The pool was clean and wonderful to swim in. The atmosphere and the people who stayed here were a relaxed type, which was nice. Though the place is not posh, it in many ways is hidden gem. We did have a lovely holiday.
  : Internet was very poor. This creates a big problem if you need to answer work emails and so on. The equipment in the place could do with a revamp. Two lights not working; headboard on my daughters bed not attached; glasses cheap and easily crackable (could be updated). Gas top oven could be checked. A welcome pack of things to do, near by would be welcome and creating a welcome pack of foods too for people arriving, might be a nice gesture. A simple bar with cold drinks, ice, beer etc might be arranged around the reception area given it takes 20 minutes to get to the nearest SPAR.
