Spire View Pickering

  : Spacious apartment above a quiet gift shop in the centre of Pickering. Great location and view up the main street towards the church. Pickering's a busy place, so the parking space was very handy. Lots of shops, restaurants, takeaways and two supermarkets close by. The local church with its medieval wall paintings, Pickering Castle and the Beck Isle Museum were all very interesting, and Scarborough and Whitby were within a half-hour's drive.
  : Minor point, but there weren't any basic supplies like tea and coffee or condiments etc which we would normally find at a self catering property. TV reception wasn't great, but the wifi was fine for streaming etc.

  : Very convenient for everything, pubs, food, buses. Great view of the high street.
  : Beds are quite narrow, one or two things in the kitchen not very clean ie mugs stained and wine glasses had possibly orange juice bits on. Saying that overall the apartment was very clean, and appreciate not everything can be checked so probably down to a previous guest

  : Location okay.
  : Who ever had the Spire View before had NOT washed up all the cutlery, some was very dirty and we had to wash all of it, and some of the plates were also still dirty and we had to wash these again!!! Not very happy that we had to do this!
