  : Swanky spot. Close to 2 metro stops. Bookshop, coffee house, and Toasted Owl essentially on site. Downtown (stadiums, museums) not within walking distance. Front desk very helpful and friendly.

  : We have stayed before and we do like the outdoor part to Rise, and loved our room on the pool side. This time we were in the tower and it was not our favorite. Not homey as the last one, or close to the pool like we liked before. However the big bummer was no phonograph, and the AC was set to a timer ( we figured out after waking for the 3rd time when it kept shutting off) I figured out how to get it sweet to disable the timer for the ac. We left around dinner and came back at 9 and it was 87 in the room. The room has zero view, so was a bummer. We also went to the “happy hour” and it was only ONE option! Against my better judgment I said okay, but could t drink it, was wayyy too sweet. We left and would have stayed had the “happy hour” had a choice of 1 beer, can be a cheaper brand, or red or white glass of house wine, or the cocktail! Last time we had a bottle id sparkling wine in our room, but maybe was because of anniversary or something? We did hang out at pool and have one drink each, and guac/chios and rice and beans order. It was good, $65 later, but was okay. Either way, we won’t be coming back, there’s other hotels.
