  : The bed was comfortable and it was in a good location being right next to the train station
  : We booked a triple room but were told on arrival it wasn't available so they'd split us into two separate rooms at opposite ends of the hotel from one another and on separate floors, which wasn't good at all as I was with my partner and her younger sister. We weren't offered any sort of refund or apology for the inconvenience, it really ruined our time at the hotel. I slept in the room alone which didn't have any of the shampoo, conditioner, soaps etc my partner and her sister's room did. It wasn't pleasant being in a strange room on my own either so I didn't sleep all that well.We went to the bar for a drink before our train and stood for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come and serve us, nobody did so we ended up leaving. The service was very poor, we paid a lot of money for a room we didn't get and their solution to the problem wasn't an appropriate one for us given how far apart the rooms were. We were also waiting a good 15-20 minutes to check in, the customers in front of us sounded like they had issues with their rooms similar to us as well. They blamed booking.com for the mix up but I think it was their poor management as we haven't had this issue any other time we've booked this way. Booking.com also showed premium rooms that slept 3 available but when I asked about that they said that was wrong too and what they offered was all they had. We had booked a couple of months in advance as well so we really shouldn't have turned up on the day and been told this, if we'd had more notice we would have cancelled and went elsewhere. We really weren't impressed at all, were left very inconvenienced and out of pocket so we won't be back in the future. It was a real shame to have had such a bad experience as it was my partner's sisters first time staying over in another city.

  : The staff, overall, very kind and quick to solve any issue.
  : The management is doing a poor job. Selling rooms that aren't ready to be occupied. For example, ours had shower glasses that were not fixed, unpainted walls, no heating in the bathrooms, holes in the bed sheets, TV not working. By far, not worthy the money they're charging for a night.

  : Room was big and clean. In good location.
  : Breakfast was awful. No food on offer. No staff to fill up the food trays they all sat in the kitchen talking and on their phones. Hot food came out as breakfast was finished just in time for the staff to grab their food.

  : Im sorry but it was disappointing and not the usual standard of a Raddison Blu I understand it had recently changed hands ?
  : My bedroom was small and the bed was not as requested I had intimated a tall husband and requested a large bed which was in fact ignored Disappointing! I understand the hotel had recently changed hands and reception struggled Other staff were very young without leadership A bus party had arrived before us and they were all complaining so I did not bother the young receptionist with my problem . Breakfast area was without charm and service was very poor The food was adequate without being good .I am sure you will be working hard to upgrade this hotel

  : freezing cold poor menu no atmosphere no bar menu terrible tasting food. public spaces dark, empty and cold.

  : Duvet cover was different size to duvet so had to sleep without cover on. Carpets could be a little cleaner as well as window areas.
