  : Excellent location. Close to restaurants, Metro and Place de Vosges. Very comfy bed. Modern bathroom.We took a food tour of le Marais. (Highly recommend)Their hostess, Rena, was so kind, friendly and helpful. Charming, historic building. Would stay there again.
  : Remember - this is Paris. Think — small rooms, limited storage, single pane windows and walking up a flight of stairs.

  : Not much to like. The rooms were small and hot and noisy. The area is nice but street is not.
  : The sink was in the room. The bed was uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi did not work, which was the most important thing as this was a working vacation. Also, no AC and noisy. We had to leave and find another hotel. When we asked for a refund for the nights we didn't stay we were denied.

  : The staff were incredibly friendly, the location can't be beat and there are several restaurants etc within a few minutes of the hotel. The place has charm!
  : A few things to note: There are no ACs in the room so if it's hot in Paris, you're not going to be super comfortable. The "X2" bedroom lines face the street which is very loud at night (there are a couple of restaurants down the street). If you come with a lot of luggage, know that you will have to take it up one flight of stairs to use the elevator, which is tiny. The room was perfect for me (traveling alone) but would be tight for 2.

  : The staff were very kind and helpful and always asking if we needed anything. We arrived before check-in and the room was ready (we had alerted them). They had offered to hold our suitcases if it wasn't, so I appreciate both options.The hotel is in an excellent location (just outside the Place des Vosges) and there is a flower shop and small grocery store next door. It's about a 5-minute walk to the Place de la Bastille Metro stop.The room was very clean and we had regular housekeeping. We had a huge window looking out over the street that we left open. It was a little noisy from the cafes on the street (it was during the Euros), but we are city people and not affected by street noise. We did not hear any noise from our neighbors.The hotel offered breakfast for a decent price, but we have a favorite cafe (Cafe des Phares) in Place de la Bastille where we always have a light Parisienne breakfast.Everything looked relatively new and clean. The sink was outside the bathroom, while the toilet was in the same room with the very nice tub/shower.They had lots of tiny nooks and crannies they had turned into storage areas, but the room was unbelievable small. It might be nice for a couple's retreat, but we were a family of three with a tall teenage son. They set up a third bed (a twin cot) for him, but it made walking around the bed almost impossible. There was no seating area in the room and the TV was hanging on the wall over the cot, so definitely not usable later at night.
  : The room was way too small for 3 adult-size people. It was difficult finding room for our luggage and for moving around the Queen-size bed. There was no seating area and no desk, which I find disappointing. Visitors should be forewarned that the elevator does NOT go to the ground floor (floor 0), so you need to walk your luggage up one flight of narrow stairs before catching it.The front desk is not manned 24/7 so you are given a fob to get back into the building. When this wasn't working for my husband, he phoned the number posted but no one ever picked up.This hotel is in a superb location. Everything was clean and well tended. However, the lack of elevator and the small size of the room (smaller than a NYC studio apartment or an inside cruise ship stateroom) mean we won't be back. Folks looking for an intimate room might enjoy this hotel more than families.
