  : The property is rated as 4-star, but the rooms and facilities were not good. Even the mattresses were old, and uncomfortable and room had no ventilation etc.,

  : The hotel is well located near all main places to visit in central Palermo. Decoration was original. The staff were very nice and welcoming. We appreciate their efforts to make our stay nice but unfortunately there were many issues that we need to comment.
  : The room was not well cleaned. The floor near the jacuzzi was dirty. There were a couple of things from previous guests including and old q-tip on the floor. We even had to kill some kind of insect walking on the bed, probably coming from a nearby plant that looks nice but block a little the pass to the jacuzzi. There was mold in the shower floor. The wifi was poor. Breakfast looked abundant but in fact it was a collection of not very healthy sweets. Breakfast could work better if it was served as buffet and not directly on the tables. Our car was parked by someone from the hotel and it was returned with a scratched bumper which costed us 400 euros with the car rental.

  : Good location directly at the palace, very kind staff, good and very satisfying breakfast.
  : We got a room upgrade, however the room had no real window. (Not sure how the standard rooms would have been.) The hotel takes a lot of care of details but not too much looking into the usability, eg. no hooks for the towels, toilette paper not at the toilet. The pool is at a different building next door and the pool area is not well maintained, not enough towels, no staff at the pool.

  : We were disappointed when we entered the hotel and then our room. At this price, we expected a nicer room (although we were upgraded without asking for it, which was a nice gesture). The rooms are decorated with a mishmash of objects without much consistency. The good, the authentic and the ugly are put next to one another. Not sure why the breakfast is not served as a buffet because in their willingness to be generous, the breakfast probably leads to a lot of waste.

  : A great location, beautiful room, amazing breakfast and lovely staff. I was also offered little pastries on arrival, which was nice. There are very good & high quality train connections to Palermo airport, but arriving late, I was grateful for the hotel's offer to organise transport to the hotel.
  : My room was quite close to the breakfast /lobby area and the noises from the corridor woke me up earlier than I would have wanted. So I slept a bit poorly but otherwise a great hotel.

  : Definitely had an issue with mosquitos, but the staff was really helpful with that!
