  : Incredibly rude staff. Especially the night staff that was everything but helpful and welcoming. The hotels parking is pretty much a scam considering that if you park your car in it, you cannot have it back until you leave.

  : The location is exceptional. One minute to Prato della Valle, Three minutes to The Basilica of St. Anthony and 15mins easy stroll into the historical centre of the city. If all you really need from a hotel is a bed for the night and you are looking to spend all your waking hours out exploring the city and enjoying everything Padova has to offer, its fine. BUT its an old two star property for a reason.so make sure you are clear on what you are expecting from your hotel. There is a small room for breakfast but this is the only time it is used and the only time you can use the facilities. The main member of staff was friendly and helpful. My wife was able to borrow a hairdryer and we also borrowed a small travel iron.
  : Not all the staff follow the primary staff members example. The night porter is abrupt but I am willing to put this down to the language barrier rather than anything else. Lets face it, I dont speak Italian and in Italy so its a little arrogant to expect fluent English. That said we werent told the iron we borrowed was the only one they had and we were woken just before 8am with a demand for it back because we had had it a long time bearing in mind we checked in at 11pm on Friday and it had been placed in our room (at our request) but we had spent all of Saturday out or the hotel, this seemed a little unfair. When we finished with it the staff member came to collect it and brought the other guest asking for it to our door. We also asked for a cup of hot water and were told it was impossible until breakfast and there was no way he would turn the coffee machine on outside of breakfast hours. Instead we were sent out of the hotel for a 10min walk to find a coffee bar still open. I accept it didnt state any tea or coffee making facilities in the room but the machine in the breakfast area could have been switched on at the press of a button ..

  : The room was a bit bleak, very worn fittings, ceiling panel near air con was missing with exposed ducts and electric cables. Air con was not working.
