  : Staff was excellent, by far the best asset of the property. Breakfast was good, and comfortable seating. Beds in room were very comfortable, and linens were great. Room was a good size, and nicely equipped kitchen. Convenient laundry. Great location, very walkable and streetcar stop next door. Fast elevator. In hotel restaurant was very good
  : Shower had hair in it from previous guest. Room sofa was the worst. Old and padding non existent on arms and edges. Had to put multiple pillows on it to have any comfort, covered it with extra sheet and blanket. Only then was it usable . Really needs to be replaced. Only received housekeeping once in 6 nights, that was ok..i just had to ask for towels and paper products from front desk.

  : The check-in was simple. The valet parking was expensive but they did a great job, fast and friendly. The breakfast area was very clean and orderly.
  : The pillows in the room were awful. The music from the Latin nightclub across the street was ridiculously loud even with the TV on.

  : The staff were wonderful and friendly, always helpful.
  : They needed more staff to help with breakfast. When there was a rush, the singular person was not able to keep up. We felt sorry for her. Also would’ve loved a better variety of hot food. We stayed at a Homewood suites in Galveston before and they had an excellent hot breakfast, including omelettes. We quit going to breakfast after the second day because it wasn’t worth it since the one overworked and stressed out, staff member in the kitchen could not keep up alone. We felt very sorry for her. Also would’ve loved to not have to walk so far to the parking garage. Parking was way too expensive on top of what we were paying for our room. My back is all messed up now because the mattress that my husband and I had needed to be either flipped or replaced. I kept having to brace myself not to roll into the middle of the bed and never slept well.
