  : The condo had nice decor.
  : The outdoor porch couldn't be used due to the smell of pet urine. We called and a ticket was supposedly made but the issue was never taken care of during our stay. The odor was unbearable. The pull out couch was not comfortable. The 2nd night infestation of large cockroaches were found inside the bedroom, bathroom, and outside porch sitting area. Vacasa condo management was less than helpful and we were told to either remain in a cockroach infested room or to leave. We were also told by vacasa employee Nicole D. that the bugs we found were not roaches but local bugs called palmetto bugs. I looked it up and in fact the bugs in our room were indeed palmetto bugs which are scientifically classified as a species of cockraoches. I do not care if you call it a S. Carolina unicorn bug, it is still a cockroach infestation. Ultimately We were forced to end our vacation 2 days early. We were also told that we were permitted to use all amenities of kingston plantation. This was a misrepresented lie on behalf of vacasa. We were told by the spa staff that we were not permitted to use kingston plantation amenities and had to pay extra to play tennis on the courts. The general manager "Pete" has yet to call us as we were told he would. Only a refund of the two nights that we didn't even stay in the room after ending our vacation early is supposed to be refunded. Also possibly the original booking cost. We had to find rooms elsewhere that evening that cost us an additional $560 last minute. Given the above listed inconveniences i believe a full refund would be the appropriate solution.

  : Didn’t know it offered breakfast
  : I killed 3 cockroaches and left them on the floor. A couple I couldn’t get so who knows where they ran to. Makes sleeping uneasy! Very disappointed with that.

  : It was furnished well. Especially the kitchen. Good location. Safe community.
  : Plumbing could have worked better(toilet/tub). Could have been a little cleaner. Maybe a newer matress.
