  : It was hard to get in if you were coming from the west but easy from the east.

  : The location was fine. I think the hotel provided exactly what I was seeking... It was clean and had a comfortable bed and a nice clean bathroom with a great shower. Everything with the room was fine.
  : I have stayed at this hotel five times this year and two of the times I have been exposed at check-in to a desk clerk named "Terri." Terri is not at all up to par but every other employee at this hotel I have encountered is. Both times, when I checked in, Terri told me there was no vacancy and when I showed her my confirmation that I received via email, she still argues with me that it is not valid because the hotel didn't book the reservation, but the funny thing is - she always comes up with a room for me. I just cannot understand it... It makes ZERO sense. She should be happy to book those rooms and to have guests there... it's how the hotel makes money and without guests, the hotel wouldn't thrive and require her employment. I do have to say, though, that EVERY ONE of the other employees I have encountered have been very nice and courteous and have completed their job with a smile on their face.

  : The staff was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Helpful and friendly. The pool was worth the whole trip. It is a beautiful atrium of plants surrounding a heated indoor pool and hot tub. The kids loved it.
  : A little worn around the edges, but the staff and pool more than made up for the little imperfections.

  : Closely located to a breakfast diner. Very affordable with great staff.
  : My TV stopped getting the channels and tried to scan, but the remote buttons didn't help it. No maintenance was available on a Sunday to fix it.

  : Staff were welcoming and efficient. Cafe on site was well priced and food and bar were great. Never had time to check out the pools. Did sit in the garden enjoying a drink and watching the fountain. It's not a Marriott but as an old school motel it was great. It was a great option versus Louisville hotels for the Derby. Room was a good price and well stocked. Bed was comfy and it was quiet. It was only 30 minutes to Churchill Downs
  : Well its roadside accommodation so it's nothing fancy and there was not much to do within walking area other than the Cafe and bar. Then again, we do usually stay downtown in large cities.
