  : The best part this year was renting the duck boat for our little ones!
  : Our balcony door handle was broken and wouldn't lock. I advised them of the issue. They came to fix the handle so we could be able to slide it open... the problem was that it stayed unlocked the entire night and made it uneasy to sleep. We have been coming here for the last 4 years for our 4th of july mini vacation, but it might be time to explore other resorts for the summer.

  : I liked that my kids thought it was cool.
  : My first trip I’ve ever taken with my children…first impression: a room with a view of valet. Uhhh…no thanks..so we switched rooms after the awesome lady at the front was able to accommodate my desire for a $300 view of the “lake”. We were super hungry so we walked over to land shark where we were seated in the first table by the door. We sat there for 20 minutes and the only service staff to acknowledge us was some lady who told my husband “that’s a cool scooter”..we ended up leaving and driving off the resort to eat dinner cause we had no other options because everything was closed and landsharj didn’t seem to know we were there. Our burgers off of 105 at Workds burgers were the best I’ve had though. I wish I was warned that the beginning of summer is still considered the off season therefore all the poolside bars and everywhere else except Joe Metchants… I basically payed $381 for a hotel room that smelt like farts and coconut slushees for a handful of hours and to throw my kids into the nastiest murkiest green lazy river. I did it for my children. Otherwise I would not have set foot in that water. It wasn’t even crowded so I don’t know why the lazy river was so gross. I wanted to have a drink by the pool but I could only get land shark (we weren’t on good terms, apparently not speaking to eachother (unbeknownst to me lol) or overpriced beer from the little cafe…I wanted a freakin mojito for the amount I paid. I regret it all. I could’ve taken a two day trip to San Antonio for the amount I spent for a stinky slushy fart hot non-working ac hotel room and a green lazy river….

  : All facilities were closed because of the hurricane. Hotel management refused to provided with any type of compensation. For example Free breakfast or discounted stay .

  : The only nice thing about the property was the waitstaff at the restaurant.
  : Absolutely unbelievable experience. We were promised an early check in prior to our arrival. We confirmed such on more than one occasion. We arrived at 11am and waited until 9pm for a room with no AC. All day long we were told “give us 30 more minutes” This was the most horrible experience ever. We got a partial refund.
