  : Room smelled like smoke. There was trash under one of the beds from previous resident. In the bathroom on one of the walls, the wall paper was peeling away and looked black behind it, not sure if was mold or what. Also, no towels in the bathroom, at all. Went to front desk to ask for towels and clerk acted suprised that I would want towels. Not sure how their breakfast was, I was to scared to try it.

  : Dirty room no towels or soaps shampoo etc bed sheet felt like they were not washed the sheets were wrinkled and smelled so I don’t think they were washed after the last guests. Pillows smelled

  : The staffing is ridiculous. I stayed here for 4 nights. On the third day, I happen to need more towels so I go to the front desk. I ask them and the lady at the front literally says “you have to check out today”. This was at 10:45am when check out is 11am. I tell the lady, I have reservations for 4 nights. She tells me that the manager wants everyone checked out today because they are closing the hotel tomorrow. Umm what?? I booked for 4 nights… and you are now telling me 15 minutes before checkout that I need to check out when I only stayed for 3 nights? I asked the lady if I could speak with the manager and she says “you can come tomorrow to talk with the manager. She is not here right now”. Why would I want to talk with the manager the day after I need to check out? Although this hotel is the cheapest in the Madison area, I would pay extra for a different hotel. It’s not worth this crappy staffing.
