  : Excellent location! Close to all amenities such as groceries or public transportation.
  : There were huge cakaroach on the stairs leading up to the apartment. Each day there is one or three new ones on the steps of the stairs.

  : There is no ventilation. It's a bit claustrophobic. We also found some cockroaches in the building and also in the apartment.

  : The apartment was clean and quiet. The location was a little outside the main tourist area of Bairro Alto but there was good public transit close by making it easy to get around. The air conditioning worked well and was welcome during an August stay. The shared kitchen was well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the shutters kept the room dark and cool for a good night's sleep.
  : The apartment was a bit smaller than the photos showed. More coffee and tea would have been appreciated! The wifi was a little slow but overall the stay was good value for money if travelling on a budget.

  : Good location. Washing machine and the air-con worked well. It was not difficult to find parking nearby and communication with the host/staff was good.
  : The kitchen in the unit in level 0 was not great conducive for cooking. The kitchen accessories and sponge were tired. There was only 1 flute glass and no wine glasses, etc. The doors in the bathroom wouldnt close/lock and the main door was difficult to open. The units we rented in levels 1 and 2 were better.

  : The location was great, close to a small supermarket and some wonderful restaurants. Having air conditioning was an added bonus. There was a shared kitchenette that was small but had everything that we needed.
  : The kitchenette was hot but we were there in summer.

  : Paula was really easy to communicate with and she always responded right away! The property had everything we expected and whenever we had a small question, Paula helped within minutes. We also had two bathrooms (ground floor apartment), which we didn't expect and was a pleasant surprise. Note: The apartment is easy to reach via bus, the nearest metro station is about 20 minutes walking.
  : One thing to note is that air ventilation can only be done via A/C or with a small top window in the living room. None of the other rooms have windows so we found the air got a bit stale overnight. The bathroom worked well but be mindful that it is a bit dated and the grout lines show that. All the little holes of all the sinks were taped shut, we suspect for smell-protection reasons, but every now and then the bathroom still had a smell.
