  : We had a magnificent time at Ocean View Cotillo. It's in a great location overlooking the sea and close to the old harbour with its restaurants and shops, we loved El Cotillo's laid back vibe. The two-bedroom apartment was comfortable (on the whole), super clean, well-equipped with kettle, coffee machine, good utensils, TV with Netflix, lift and was excellent value for money. There's a lovely pool with great sea views on the rooftop, even better than the photos online. We got our keys from a security box and didn't meet anyone at reception but we like it that way anyway.
  : These are small things and we'd def go back. You could feel every coiled spring on the hard mattress on the single bed. I had to layer it with duvets. Incredibly, there's no AC or fan which made it additionally hard to sleep in the heat. I can't imagine what it's like in high summer. Also the building seems to have been repurposed from an office block or small shopping mall, downstairs what would have been a glazed area is blocked up so it's not very pretty from the outside (doesn't really matter) but on the first floor the twin bedroom looks onto a communal open corridor, with windows at waist level. We had to leave the bedroom window open during the night to try to create a draft, which felt a bit insecure - guests in other apartments could literally access bedrooms. It feels like a safe place though but it meant you had to keep the blinds shut too during the day for privacy. It's check out at 10am which is fine but as someone else observed she knocked on the door at 10.01 and stood there waiting while I emptied the bins so be ready to leave punctually.

  : Im use to El Cotillo often as I live in lanzarotewe walked in in the afternoon,apartment very hot ,cleaning recently done ,it was very strong smelling of bleach..we had to open all windows and go out because impossible to stay in the room is top floor exposed to sun all day so if you wanna rest buy a ventilator because they dont have one for sure I wont suggest and I will not be backin el cotillo you can get much more for cheaper price

  : Amazing location, we got upgrade to room with sea view. Neighborhood is very quiet. Room was equipped with all necessary items to prepare dinner. Reception staff is incredibly friendly.
  : AC in bedroom would be nice as room is getting quite hot even with curtains closed.
