  : An absolutely brilliant break away. A really beautiful location and a great experience staying in a traditional cottage with so much history & character. The surrounding area was full of lots of historical heritage & character with stone circles, parks and wild coast line - ('Glenichaquin' a must see and on the door step) Kathleen & Dan were so kind and welcoming and made the stay all the more special. Dan gave us a guided tour & history of the cottage and its origins. Lovely people. The cottage itself is basic but functional, cool in the heat and in a really quiet area, safe for kids and lots of room to play outside ...excellent 4G mobile coverage if needed. Its a 15 minute drive for groceries but not hugely inconvenient, small local shop in walking distance for bread, milk newspapers and treats. There was 6 of us altogether and all round it was one of the most memorable holidays we have had in Ireland.
  : Only negative was the 5 hour drive from Carlow :-)

  : The cottage was in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful and quiet. A perfect base for exploring the area and its history. Staying in the cottage was like stepping back in time, a fantastic experience for us to see and stay in a 200-year-old cottage, but with all the modern necessities. The owners were so nice, and Dan even told us about the history of the cottage.
  : The beds were a bit different than we are used to, but apart from that our stay was perfect.
