M53 Motel Imlay City

  : Decent size shower and that's it...
  : It said it was a non-smoking motel and non-smoking rooms...It stunk real bad like musty cigarettes...The bedspreads had stains on them and cigarette burn holes...It said we got a tub with our room and only a shower with no shampoo or conditioner...Shower curtain was only a cloth and water going all over floor...It said vending machines....No ice machine, no snack machines, no coffee pots/ coffee in room and only one pop machine that was outside and all busted broken looking ....Door lock top bolt didn't lock from outside only bottom and very easy to break in to...Chain Lock inside only hang chain part dangling and latch wasn't even there ...Door frame all busted and screwed/ glued together...Stayed two days and no housekeeping as they advertised, no fresh towels or commodities...Burn holes in carpeting throughout room...No table/ chairs only one chair stuck up inside of a built in closet.....Groups of People hanging all over in parking lot all hours of night that were apparently actually living there...Loud truck driving fast in parking lot back n forth all way til 3:15am...Light fixture above one bed was unplug and not even a plug outlet near it and no bulb even inside of it...

  : Extremely nice owner. Bed clean and comfortable. In process of painting. Had a microwave and refrigerator and a really good air conditioner.

  : It was so rundown and out of date. The carpets were moldy, had a very old space heater, the shower was filthy and the sheets/comforter had holes and stains.

  : Location was perfect, staff was friendly, room was clean
  : When we were in our room the owner knocked on the door and brought in a space heater. He said the heater was not working, and the room was freezing. The space heater made the room warm after several hours. We should have been told when we paid that there was no working heater in the room. The bathroom pocket door was horrid. We had to pull quite hard to get it partially closed. It is old and chipped. It does not completely close.
