  : We were misled. Booking.com you need to be careful about who registers vacancies on your site and make sure that people know that they are booking with the hotel directly or with a private person who owns the suite.
  : Being misled by the booking process. We made our payment before we left Australia and it was only discovered after the payment was taken in full for our entire stay that we had been totally misled and had not booked direct with the hotel. We had unwittingly booked with a private owner of the suite in the hotel and not the hotel itself. The money was not refundable. We basically had to put up with what we had paid for. The room was old, dirty and disgusting. Old plastic plates and bowls, not even a glass to get a drink of water, two old stained coffee mugs as well. The blanket on the bed had what I can only describe as a poo stain on it....the cleaning solutions were left behind a picture leaning up against the bathroom sink facilities.....in behind that picture was all the products for cleaning, some old dirty clothes on the floor and a multitude of mold in the bathroom that obviously had not been cleaned off for quite some time. The shower was a joke, the shower head kept falling off it's holder (hand held type) ready to hit you on the head any time you used it. Old mismatched furniture, rugs, throw covers on bedside tables ect...., dirty curtains with old ground-in dirt from multitudes of past guests, no room service, no hotel facility services such as hotel shuttle, beach towels for use in the pool or at the beach, no soap, no toilet paper, no tea, coffee, milk or sugar....nothing in fact. You were left to clean your own room and provide your own basics right down to bin liners and taking out your own garbage, washing your own towels and sheets. When we arrived on our first day, we couldn't even get the key to our room, the front desk told us we had to wait until it was handed back in by the cleaners (not hotel cleaners but private cleaners) and we had an 8 hour wait just to stow our luggage. We had to change in the hotel lobby toilets after a 9 hour flight and pay to leave our bags with the hotel porter (cost was $10) until we could gain access to room.

  : Great views over city, rate for room #412 was significantly cheaper than rest of Aqua Palms. Good sized room in excellent location. Helpful staff. Good restaurants nearby. It is a good city centre option.
  : This was my first time staying in an apartment within a hotel, so the pre-arrival admin took some time to understand. But after that everything was great.

  : We liked the accommodation very much. It is an apartment in a hotel, but not a part of it. Very nice view from the balcony. Air conditioning works very well. A bit far from Waikiki (20-30 mins walk), but in oberall very good place to stay.
  : Not too many towels for a longer stay. An information about external trash/bin location and loundry would be welcome.

  : The location was PERFECT for us because we were there for a conference right across the street at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The room was good sized and the bed was super comfy.... and mostly clean. (See a couple issues in the "didn't like" section). The bed blanket was incredibly minky soft (I want to know where he got it : ), but I didn't get to enjoy it because I'm overly paranoid about touching the items that probably don't get washed as often as the sheets. (My issue: lol.) It was nice to sit out on the balcony in the evening, and look down on the Hilton fountain and enjoy the city lights.
  : Maybe I have unrealistic expectations for a private unit, but there were a few things I would like to see improved: it's an older place and the room could use a refresh on the decor, but we knew that going in; the pictures were accurate, and we were fine with that (we knowingly chose it). There were no toiletries except a handsoap dispenser at the sink (maybe I didn't read the description carefully enough); the blow-drier was missing the back vent cover, and it sucked in a little chunk of my hair and burned it off (so I learned to be more careful); the clear soft plastic drain cover in the tub was yellowed and greened with mildew, and the shower curtain was slightly mildew-y, too; and I saw and killed one roach on the bathroom counter (which kinda grossed me out, because that's where our toothbrushes were sitting). I didn't see any other bugs the rest of the stay, though, and the rest of the place seemed well dusted and vacuumed, etc, so I choose to assume that critter was an anomaly. The curtains were smudgy with handprints where you open and close them. Lastly, we had been told by the host that the desk would hold our bags for free, but "that tipping them would be nice." Reality is it costs $10 to leave bags until check-in time of 4pm, so there's your head's up on that.

  : The only available small blanket for the 3rd person barely covered a half of my husband's body. He had to add his jacket and towels to stay warm while sleeping. He could sleep well. The sink didn't drain well.

  : Room was well equipped for my son and I. We were out most days so ate out although an Ihop next to hotel and ABC store around the corner.
