  : We did not like the check-in process. Usually you walk in an office and get your key but when we arrived there was a closed sign. Place looked abandoned. We called and no answer. We called booking.com. They contacted owner Bob. Bob is down south. His son was actually on the premises. He proceeded to walk down the stairs and point to the sign(barely visible) that told us that our key was in the box on the door. Maybe an email notification of the check-in process would've be a good idea. I have never had a room key left outside unless you were checking in after the check in process . Bobs son John made a point to complain that he received a call from booking.com. also made sure to point out the sign multiple time. Not so friendly. Rooms were super out of date and they smelled like a combination of urine and cigarettes. Tv did not work. We tried everything, nothing worked. We would of called the office but figured no one would answer. We stayed at this place because of location and availability but will never go here again.
