  : The buildings and location were fabulous! Full of character, extremely comfortable and very relaxing. A genuine borie is part of the house: amazing! Delicious breakfast with an array of jams and honeys beyond belief! Lovely pool, heated! Tempted my husband in, but not quite me in mid October! Easy walking distance into town, but removed enough to be thoroughly immersed in phenomenal views all round. An absolute treat. And the family dog is a delight!

  : Very friendly hosts providing wonderful breakfast. We liked the little terrasse area to sit in just outside our room. The room was cool and very clean. The. bed was particularly good and a warm duvet as the rooms are in traditional stone. The hosts were very friendly, not intrusive at all, and even managed to provide a drink for us after a long journey. thoroughly recommend this address.
  : It is difficult to find something really bad here! Having to cope with the slate paths with heels was difficult but not impossible, even at night when we returned from our wedding.

The property is well-equipped and exudes a cozy atmosphere that sets it apart. Entertainment Delight: The highlight of the room was the great TV with Netflix access, boasting a generous screen size that allowed for enjoyable movie nights and relaxation. Comfortable Stay: The air conditioning was effective, ensuring a comfortable stay even during the warmer days. The large bed was a true luxury, providing ample space to stretch out and relax. Convenient Breakfast: The cold buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a variety of options including cheese, fruits, and cereals. It provided a great start to each day. Central Location: La Borie en Provence's proximity to Gordes centre was a definite advantage, with just an 800-meter walk to reach the heart of the town. This made exploring the area hassle-free. Historic Touches: The presence of a bathtub in the historical part of the building added a touch of nostalgia to the stay, inviting relaxation and rejuvenation. Swimming Delight: The availability of a swimming pool on the premises was a wonderful addition, providing an opportunity to cool off and unwind after a day of exploration. Canine Companion: Ziggy, the resident dog, was a delightful and friendly presence, adding a warm and welcoming vibe to the stay.
  : Negatives: Pricing Woes: One of the major drawbacks of my stay was the steep price tag. Considering the overall experience and offerings, I found the accommodation to be very expensive. Late-Night Arguments: The owners' late-night argument on the first night (after 22:00hrs) was an unfortunate disruption to the otherwise peaceful atmosphere, impacting the overall ambiance. Cramped Quarters: The rooms were quite small, leaving just enough space to maneuver around the bed. Cupboard doors couldn't be fully opened due to the limited space. Security Lapse: The absence of a safe in the room was concerning, leaving valuables without a secure storage option. Noise Insulation Issues: The internal door separating the room and the main house was inadequate in terms of noise insulation, leading to disturbances and privacy concerns. Coffee Disappointment: While the presence of a Nespresso machine was promising, the coffee provided was not as fresh as expected, leaving a bit to be desired. Electrical Inconsistencies: The temperamental power supply was an annoyance, with plugs working intermittently and causing inconveniences.
