  : The room was very comfortable and clean. There were plenty towels etc. and it was nice that the room had a bath in the bathroom. We ate in the bar the first evening and met the lovely Christina, who took care of us.I have been staying with the Clayton Hotel group in Dublin for years and they are amazing. That was the reason I picked a Clayton Hotel.
  : After staying the first night, we wanted to use the swimming pool, but it was not available. We were travelling with my 6 year old daughter and the reason we had booked the hotel was two-fold : I love staying at the Claytons in Dublin and the second reason was that there was a pool for my daughter to enjoy. We did not have our car with us, so we were out quite a bit from town.When the pool was not available the lady at reception offered us the sister hotel to use their facilities. When I asked if it was far away, she said 5 minutes. I asked her was this on foot, and she said that was via car. I informed her that we did not have our car with us. This comment was disregarded. We were also celebrating our wedding anniversary and a friend of mine had ordered a bottle of wine to be delivered to our room, as a surprise. On our last day the bottle of wine was in our room when we returned from our day outside the hotel. When I spoke to my friend she had to ring the hotel on 3 occasions to arrange this, as it was not done on the first day, as she had requested. Someone she had spoken to at one point apologized to her and said a couple of desserts would be thrown in as a service recovery. This did not happen.On the final morning, my husband and daughter went to the pool and I went to reception to pay for breakfast for myself. The lady I spoke to said, its okay, go ahead. I thought that might have been a service recovery for the late wine.When I went to check out I was very surprised to be told that I had been charged for 3 bottles of wine from room service, one for every evening. Apparently, I had been charged on check in for all of these, so that was an overcharge of 102Euro. The lady on reception said I would be refunded 87Euro to my original card in a few days, as the breakfast I just had was 15Euro - so that was not a service recovery.

  : The room was clean and well appointed. The buffet breakfast was exceptional. Room staff were very accommodating and supplied extra milk on request.
  : Couldn't get the shower to work as the water would only come out of the bath tap. The twist bit in the tap to redirect water to the shower seemed to be seized up. Just luckily my mum and I enjoy baths.

  : Laundry service did not deliver our clothes until called. It delayed our departure for 2 hours.

  : We had adjoining rooms and found this a massive plus for our trip as we could all be together whilst having enough space for everyone
