  : Rooms were a good size and clean. Staff were very helpful.
  : The area is very very rough. There are druggies smoking crack in the middle of the street. Drug dealers and prostitutes are on every street corner. We felt very uncomfortable leaving the hotel.

  : It is located near the main train station, which is convenient if you are staying a few days and will use train to move around.
  : The hotel is old and smells old. Not exactly what you expect from a Mercure. The room faces the avenue and the window is not noise proof.

  : The location of the hotel is great, very near to the main train station. If you are expecting to travel around a lot on rail, this location is good. A tram stop right in front as well. We reached early and managed to get early check in which is much appreciated after a very long flight.
  : The surrounding of the hotel is not safe, a lot of the unwanted characters on the street around that area. We don't feel safe walking out of the hotel after dark, not even safe walking in a group. Best to stay in after dark. Once we are in the hotel, it's safe.

  : Close to the main station 15/20 walk from the city centre and near the tram
  : Uncomfortable beds, that were so soft I nearly fell out of my single bed at times.Had a ground floor room so unable to open our curtains. Lots of marks on the walls and floors and the sink was badly stained yellow around the plug. Not very 4* hotel quality! Air Con didn't seem to work, it just made a loud noise.Staff did not come across very friendly (maybe due to language barrier as we only spoke English)The area in which the hotel is located is dirty (there was sick outside our hotel one morning!) and lots of homeless about, so do be aware. This was a little unnerving being two young female travellers. Had we known this, it would have impacted our decision to have booked to stay here.

  : * The gate to the hotel's parking was broken, so we had to take more expensive parking in the neighborhood * Staff was not competent, unaware of the difference in the price, passive to help us with mentioned and also other issues we had * The location is not good, there is a look of homeless and drunk people. I was feeling truly unsafe * The room was okay, but there was a bit of trash under the bed and on the windowsill
