  : Liked being away from the Valley and had great hikes near-by. Easy drive to the Valley groceries and gas right in the area.

  : The location is amazing - surrounded by countryside but a little (but very expensive!) shop within walking distance. We did an amazing walk straight from the cabin one day right up into the mountains, and then a twenty minute car ride the next day to see the giant sequoia grove and a hike there. The cabin is well stocked with cooking implements, and we used the gas BBQ every evening, which was great. There is only salt and pepper in the cabin, which is a shame, as all the other places we've stayed in have had other useful basic ingredients like oil, spices, etc, but I think this is to discourage the bears. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and there was a good stock of DVDs and board games to play. Yes, this was more expensive to stay in than some other properties I considered, but the location is amazing, and we're glad we paid a little more for this. Yosemite is just glorious and we'd definitely return.

  : Very nice cosy cabin in the woods. Close to yosemite valley. Nice walking trails and everything you need with nice fireplace and gasbraai.
