  : The property was convenient to campus. The staff was accommodating.
  : The property needs to be updated. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. The bathroom needs an obvious update as well. The website listed my room as a queen with a pull out couch, however the property does not have queen rooms with pull out couches.

  : Our room was clearly not vacuumed and it smelled like someone heated up fish in the microwave

  : We was very unhappy and uncomfortable with our hotel stay. Starting with the greeting from desk Clerk. The parking lot has handicap parking space you can't park in because it blocking the car path to entrance doors. The room was a handicap room but had a adjoining door which looked unsafe. After the first night sleep and left for the day. We returned back to our room to fine dirty towels still on the floor our bed never been made. The floor or room never serviced ( The only person that we can give a ten too was JC the kitchen cook. She made my wife stay somewhat bearable. She had a superb attitude and very willing too go the extra mile ).
  : We stayed 3 nights and our linen was never changed. I had booked a third night pay separately and our room still was not serviced. We went to front desk a d asked to changed room, front clerk said no, because no room available. No one care or showed us hospitality that Best western hotel represents or known for. We are truly disappointed.

  : The breakfast was excellent. The cook ( JC ) deserves a 10+ rating. Need more employees like this person.
  : The hotel need better security for hotel guests. The fire entrance door on 1st floor next to handicap room was disabled and blocked open to let anyone entry to hotel guests area ( very unsafe ). Reported to front desk of finding, because of short staff at nights ( 1 person ) nothing could be done to make it safer. I personally closed the fire entrance door and secured it. Not 15 min later someone opened and blocked the door back open to let none hotel guests roam the paying guests area. ( Very unsafe ) .

  : The only thing good about the hotel is the location to stores it is close to the school Elizabeth City State University.
  : The hotel room was very very dirty my first room I had to kill two bugs, crawling up the wall, and the room smelled like cigarettes. I was moved to another room after telling me that the hotel was filled up, but I explained about the bugs. Very filthy.

  : The entire hotel smell like smoke and marijuana. The carpets or stained and dirty. The hotel room tub was disgusting with bugs and debris. We left our sandels on There was garbage on the bathroom floor. There was string, or some thing stuck to the walls.

  : Absolutely nothing was good about this Hotel. The continental breakfast was limited and not hot. There was a limit on the amount of towels guests could have. Trash was not taken out the whole three days I was there. We ran out of toilet paper and no one came to offer any toilet paper. I confronted the front office staff about having someone come up. They said they would send someone. When the lady finally came to the room she stated towels and toiletries were house keeping's job. House keeping never came for three days.
  : I would never recommend someone come stay at this hotel.
