  : The staff are absolutely lovely, and the view of the castle was stunning
  : The room was TINY. Literally around a foot clearance around the bed, and that was it. I’d hate to be sharing the room with someone, it was claustrophobic enough as a lone traveler. The TV is practically on the ceiling. No plugs near the head of the bed. WiFi not good enough to watch an episode of eastenders on the laptop. The floors are on the wonk, especially around the toilet door. When you sit on the loo your feet are in the shower! The blinds don’t actually black out any light as they are not wide enough. Did I flash my boobs accidentally to the people on the top of the No2 bus, due to lack of space to move and blinds that don’t quite do their jobs? Possibly…. No attempt to upgrade windows to insulate sound so VERY noisy from Princes Street 24/7. I especially appreciated the early morning wake up call from Sport Direct getting a massive delivery in the middle of the night.

  : Bed was extremely comfy and the shower was great.No noise from other rooms or outside, we had a great sleep!Lovely receptionist & perfect location!
  : It was a little small, however, we were aware it would be and that didn’t have a negative impact on our stay.

  : When it states they’re small rooms, believe them. My partner is 6”4 and couldn’t lay across the room without bending his knees.

  : When I first went into the room the air conditioning was so cold I could not stay in there. The reception staff turned it down but it was still too cold. They had to provide me with a plug-in electric heater which made it alright but this should not be necessary in the month of June. There was no window in the room and this was not made clear when I made the booking. There was no kettle to make tea or coffee.

  : Room is incredibly small and has nowhere to store clothing .Bathroom was really cramped and hard to move around in.

  : The rooms were clean and basic,but had all that was needed. The location was great and the staff friendly. It is advertised as a budget hotel so I was not surprised. It worked well as I wasn't in my room very much and it was a great location for walking or getting transport. They will keep bags for you for £2.50, which was very helpful and you can pay £10 and check out at 1pm instead of 10am.
  : The walls were thin, I could hear when someone was in the corridor,it sounded as if they were in my room. My room was up 3 flights of stairs and there isn't a lift so if you struggle with stairs it might be difficult.
