Cath looked after us through out our stay Comfortable cosy & very clean Grand house, Continental breakfast was just perfect to set you off for your dayHad your own parking space first come first serve We had the room in the attic, which was very comfortable with a Great view Lovely house

  : The location was good and next to a busstop. Room was cozy and spaceous.

  : There was parking and a great bus service into the centre right outside the accommodation. Cath was very pleasant and helpful and she provided bus and restaurant information which was very good.
  : It was very noisy. Our room was on the front and the road is very busy. We live in the country with no road noise so we were particularly sensitive to the traffic noise. There was no double-glazing to try and mitigate the road noise. Others might not find the noise a problem. The bed was a bit saggy. The breakfast was a bit bewildering...you had to book your time in 10 minute slots in a room where everyone had an allotted table and the breakfast was cereal, yogurt, fruit (or not) and pastries or toast. Nothing was cooked and the toast wasn't warm so one wonders why the necessity to book a time slot..

  : The Breakfast was great, set us up before our trip to the city. The bus service is excellent, a choice of 7 buses to and from the city. We chose the only twin room which was in the attic space as we don't sleep together as sisters. Room was lovely overlooking the garden.
  : the winding narrow stairs leading up to the twin room was a bit hazardous, but it did state that on the website.( my fault for not reading it properly). However we managed and Cath organised for our cases to be taken up and brought back down at the end of our stay.

  : Lovely welcoming lady. Nice breakfast, functional room, excellent location for bus straight into the mile.
  : Room was clean and reasonable comfortable, but the stairs up to it would not be good for anyone with walking difficulties.

  : Cath was warm, friendly and welcoming The location is really handy for getting into the city.Having a parking spot in Edinburgh is gold dust.
  : Purely personal preference, we would prefer a cooked breakfast.
