: Not being able to have an evening meal on the Monday.

Poor
Traveller Type: Traveling as Couple
: Rooms bar and gardens were lovely
: Location and no access to food and no warning the kitchen was closed before arrival Being caught up in a property that was having management change

Disappointing
Traveller Type: Business Traveler
  : Location.
: Advertised there was a restaurant for evening meals and when I booked in was told the kitchen was closed and apparently had been for sometime and although I had received several emails from The Avenue since making the booking they didn't advise me before I arrived, which meant I had to use my car to find somewhere to have my evening meal. I was also told that they were unable to do the full breakfast menu, was looking forward to an eggs Benedict, but was able to do a full English breakfast, which I didn't want. The room initially given was changed for me due to the issues around low beams. I am 6'6" tall! Was also advised that the Manager had left on the previous Monday.

  : The bed was comfy
: Where do I start........ This on not ideal for a business trip, breakfast is only served 8:30am until 9:30am which meant as I had to be at a meeting for 9am I had to miss breakfast, there was no meals available in the evening as the chef was on holiday. I am 6ft 5inches & was on the top floor, if I forgot to duck I banged my head on the low beams

: The breakfast was excellent owing to Clare coming in at short notice and staying on to make sure we were fed.
: Owing to staff problems, no evening meals were available. The basin mixer only gave you very hot or very cold.
