  : Couldn't locate the airport transfer on the place it should be. It wasn't there on advised time. We had to come back to airport terminal and take a taxi to hotel, which was really disappointing.

  : Rating: My recent stay at the Grand Mercure Dubai Airport was an absolute nightmare, making it the worst experience I have ever had in a Dubai hotel. The hotel's complete disregard for health and safety regulations resulted in a near-fatal incident, leaving me shocked and deeply disappointed.During my stay, I encountered a life-threatening situation when I received an electric shock from the bathroom mirror. Shockingly, it was revealed that the mirror had an exposed live electric wire at the back, posing a grave danger to guests. It is utterly unacceptable for a reputable hotel to have such hazardous conditions in guest rooms.What was even more distressing was the hotel management's reaction to the incident. Instead of taking immediate responsibility, they displayed a shocking lack of accountability. The hotel manager, Emad Ibrahim, demonstrated zero empathy for the trauma I experienced and downplayed the severity of the situation by claiming it was the first time such an incident had occurred. This dismissive attitude is simply unacceptable when dealing with a matter as serious as guest safety.As a guest, I expected the hotel management to respond promptly, conduct a thorough investigation, and take immediate action to rectify the issue. Unfortunately, none of these actions were taken. Their indifference and refusal to accept responsibility for the dangerous conditions in their establishment only served to compound my disappointment and distress.Health and safety should be a top priority for any hotel, especially one that carries the Grand Mercure brand. This incident raises serious concerns about the overall management and maintenance practices at this particular property. It is evident that the hotel has failed to implement proper safety protocols and inspections, putting their guests' lives at risk.

  : No clear way to access wifi. Thermostat stuck to 19C. No hot water in shower/bath.

  : Wi-Fi problem. I had 4 time request for a Slippers. They told us they will bring it. But we never received it.

  : The fact I was upgraded was nice. The gym was nice.
  : but the overall service, maintenance, attention to detail wasn't there at all. The cleaners came but didn't look at any attention to detail regarding unblocking sinks, bath tubs, refilling the shampoo, cleaning the dishes properly, noting the soiled furniture, the pillows stank of cigarettes, the surfaces of the tables were skimmed over not cleaned properly, they never left extra soaps or towels. I had to contact them all the time for coffee capsules, towels, and dressing gowns. This is rated as a 5* hotel. It's not at all. It's a 3*. The standard of slippers and dressing gowns is what you get in a 3* hotel. I was moved to another room because of the blocked sink. Only to find I had a blocked bath tub instead. The bathroom had loads of small fliesThe receptionist could hardly speak English so most of my spoken messages of complaints never reached management who were supposed to meet with me and never happened. I requested a different time and no one got back to me.

  : This was a very pleasant surprise. A great room, very big and with all the facilities and more. Very comfortable and modern.
  : Inside the room and on the corridor was a very unpleasant smell, sickening at the beginning until l got used to it. Also the breakfast was very poor in terms of choices. No much local cuisine, which was disappointing.

  : Reception gave us a upgrade at the check-in to take it away moments later? really poor effort also Reception was told to wake us up early morning 3:25am to call us at 4:15am? which we nearly missed the connection flight NOT GOOD AT ALL....

  : The swimming pool was great and location close to airport excellent and staff were excellent. The manager was excellent too as he dealt with our complaint and exceeded our expectation.
  : Roof swimming pool was not part of the hotel which was a shame and whilst booking didnt mention this at all, so a bit misleading. But didnt mind as another was available.
