  : No staff on duty. No mirrors in the rooms and a dirty pool. Bought my own towels because no staff are on the property.

  : LOVED the retro feel. Reminded me of vacationing when I was a kid in the 60's. Enjoyed the hot mineral water pool at night, seeing the stars and enjoyed hearing the breeze swaying through the palm trees. Just lovely.And we thoroughly enjoyed Cabots Pueblo Museum just a 3 minute walk up the street!
  : The hot tub was way TOO HOT! Even the pool was pretty hot, felt like my hot tub at home. Thinking the temperature was accidentally switched on too high.A fan in the room probably would have helped the wall A/C unit to cool the room down from 78°. It is May and pretty warm here already, so we do realize it's not easy keeping the room cool.

  : The only things that we enjoyed were the water pressure in the shower and the natural mineral springs (especially the 24/7 - specifically late night - access)
  : We were there to both vacation and do some remote work; temperatures were reaching close to 100 degrees during the day but the power went out 9am-4pm on our first day meaning we couldn't work (no WiFi, no power to charge our devices) and there was no AC as a result. We had to ask to be moved to a sister property and once we did that, they then booked the room we had moved to and we had to move BACK. No advance warning about the outage and very poor communication about the move back (the cleaning people showed up in the middle of a meeting with no advance warning to tell us we had to leave).Overall, this is a glorified ratty motel that happens to have access to a mineral spring. The pool and spa were filthy (floating leaves, dead bugs, oil slicks from sunscreen, etc.) with no evidence of recent cleaning. The pool deck was also ratty - chairs and cushions strewn everywhere, no maintenance to speak of whatsoever. It felt like we showed up to a house a bunch of people had just left and no one had cleaned. We had wanted to split the difference between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs but in the future we would just stay in one place or the other; if we want access to a mineral spring we would pay for a nicer property in the area since this was so overpriced to begin with.We also paid more for a 'deluxe room' with a mountain view that was in reality just a view of a trash-strewn backyard of the neighboring properties. Yes, there were mountains beyond that, but it was heavily embellished online. Overall, we read the reviews and heard glowing things but were deeply disappointed.
