: Nice, hosts, clean spatious ground level apartment, well equipped kitchen, floor heating. Hosts gave us a bottle of their own made wine and grape juice as a welcome present.
: Additional bedroom is a bit small and with almost no daylight, there's just a very small window under the ceiling.

: The apartment was clean, modern and had everything we needed: a washing machine, air conditioning, internet, a large table with space for 6 people, comfortable beds all with single mattresses which is important for us as it meant Grandma did not have to sleep on a double with a Grandchild, a dishwasher, shutters so it was dark and we could sleep well. The hosts were friendly and kind leaving some wine and grape juice for us to enjoy, and giving us some extra papers we required for the home journey. The view of the church and village from the balcony was lovely. It is located in Crni Kal 15 minutes from the coast and 10 minutes from Hrastovlje. There are plenty of walks in the area and lots of fig trees.
: The only thing which was difficult for us was the parking. We have a Renault Trafic and found it difficult to drive up the narrow roads and park in front of the apartment. See photo. There is an apartment under the one we were in and one to the left as you drive in. One evening we wanted to go out again but were unable to as we were blocked in. Some of the road in front of the parking area is unmade. This is the only concern we had.
